1. Colonel Roy Mustang: Head of Headquarters staff. First was a lt. colonel
2. 1st Lt. Riza Hawkeye: His aide. First seen as a lt.
3. Lt Col Maes Hayes- state alchemist, devoted to Mustang, has a daughter Elicia.
4. Fuhrer King Bradley- King of the land and alchemist.
5. Scar- Alchemist Killer, is offended by the alchemist idea to change what god has created
6. Greed- a demon
7. Izumi Curtis
8. Alex Louis Armstrong- state alchemist, uses lightning
9. Hohemheim Elric- their father.
10. Gluttony- a demon
11. Envy- a demon
12. Juliet Douglas
13. Winry Rockbell- Ed and Al's friend. Her gran made Ed's automail.
14. Lyra-
15. Lust- a demon, looks like a young female, fascinated by Edward
